After the standard telephone, the development of the cordless phone was the first form of a partially wireless telephone. These cordless phones work on the same principle as that of a cellular phone. The base unit of the cordless unit is the tower that holds the antenna in the world of cellular phones and through Electromagnetic waves of a certain, fixed frequency, transports signals to the handset that, through its built-in antenna, establishes a link for communication.
