Video Mobile Phones - the next generation of wireless phones

First there were the bulky phones, of which those from Motorola were popular. Then came along the 2nd generation phones of alphanumeric capabilities on a telephone. Today’s third generation phones, called 3g in short, are the video mobile phones. This kind of mobile phone is also called as a 3g video phone. The standard with this type of phone is the video capabilities. These cells now come equipped with a mega-pixel video camera.

Such a mobile phone has given users a choice and a whole new dimension in user mobility. With these 3g video cells, user can communicate ideas, thoughts and reports very easily and efficiently, without the need of carrying other electronic device besides the cell.

Furthermore, this type of cell allows one to make entire videos of events thousands of miles away and instantaneously send them over to a recipient on the other side of the planet. A very useful tool used in filming videos of accidents, natural disasters such as the recent tsunami, etc.

As these phones act as a camcorder, one’s mobility is also increased due to the fact that high-level cells come with a flash as well and can edit videos according to needs. These 3g mobile pieces are indeed one of the benchmarks for the 4g cell to emulate, and emulate it by a great extent.
