By now most of America is familiar with the sound of the very popular Motorola two way radio phones. We have all heard the distinctive Motorola phone sound in the grocery store or in a mall. Even if you have never heard the sound made by a Motorola two way radio make at your local store then you have probably heard it on television. The Motorola sound is indicative of the real time instant technology used by Motorola to allow to parties to communicate two way because the Motorola two way radios allow callers and recipients to connect to one another without having to wait for a ring. Using Motorola two way radio technology, a caller dials the two way radio code of the person they want to call and can then begin the conversation immediately. Using Motorola two way radios is very similar to using a cell phone in speaker mode and so if a person needs to take a call while sitting in a very quiet room, then they should be courteous enough to take the phone call outside. Setting the two way radio to vibrate when it receives calls is also a good idea when out in public, especially if you are in a noisy place and might not be able to hear the ring. With Motorola two way radios, it is also a good idea to send a Call Alert to the person before you connect to them. Call Alerts let the person you are calling know that you are about to "beep" them and give them an opportunity to turn off their phone if it is an inappropriate time. This is a feature than cell phone users often dream of as cell phones can be a little inconvenient at times.
