A Nextel Camera phone is not something a die-hard Nextel loyalist would be proud to list out in terms of range of models available. This is largely due to the fact that Nextel is not known for styling of its cellular phones. With its old, rugged and bulky looks, Nextel has a dedicated following of users who prefer these cells for their durability, one-button push-to-talk service and the unique business-friendly features that they have. Till late, the company sat on the sidelines during the camera phone revolution. At times, one could say that the company even avoided it. Since introducing the more stylish and compact i830 model, Nextel camera phones are a standard feature in its model range. The first Nextel camera phone, the i860, is stylishly designed and an ease to carry around. To compliment the capacity of the digital cameras, these cellular phones have got an improved display resolution and more than 260000 color display screen. Evidence of these suggests that the company may have taken a “wait and see” attitude about when to incorporate a camera into the mobile phone. Digital cellular phones with the built in cameras are the norm at the company these days.
