March 18, 2005 By: David Anthony Motorola Wireless Phones - a pioneer in cell phones
Motorola wireless phones were one of the first types of cell phones to be released onto the cell phone market. Before digital became the common cell phone network service used, analogue was the only cell phone service network. Motorola was a pioneer in cellular technology and created the first free cell phones that used the cellular analogue wavelength. Motorola continued its pioneering role as it also created the first flip cell phone, which was a complete revolution is cell phones as the flip cover was designed to protect the face of the phone and prevent accidental dialing. The design of the phone was indeed very unique in that the cell phone opened with the keypad on the bottom and the screen on the top. This prevented damage to the inner, more important part of the cell phone itself. Motorola has dominated the flip cell phone industry for many years now. Using its design from the first analogue flip phones it manufactured, Motorola has recently launched into the digital, GPS system and wireless flip cell phones. Any cell phone providers that want to develop a competitive phone with a unique body have Motorola to contend with and that is no mean feet. After all, Motorola wireless phones have come a long way from the very first prototypes of the original flip cell phones.
