LG phones are produced by LG Electronics - one of the world’s newest and most recent manufacturers of electronic and telecommunications equipment. As such, LG is very new to the cell phone market. While the LG brand is not as established as some of the other phone manufacturers such as Nokia and Motorola, LG do have a large range of excellent cell phone products. LG cell phones also offer all of the most advanced features that are offered by other manufacturers. LG offers different 27 different cell phone models, not all of which are available in the United States, making LG a completely global electronics brand. In terms of cell phones LG has specific carrier contracts with Sprint and Verizon, and their cell phones are available for purchase only through Sprint or Verizon cell phone dealers. If you are looking towards a Sprint plan then you can choose from a LX1200 or a LX5350. The LX1200 is a compact flip cell phone that has an external LCD caller ID screen and SMS capabilities. The LX5350 is the more expensive model of the two cell phones and features more advanced ring tone and screen options. Conversely, Verizon consumers have the choice of five different LG cell phones - all of which are flip cell phones and provide the most basic of cell phone features. The top of the range VX6000 is the only LG cell phone that has a built-in camera.
