The Internet is full of thousands of top quality free polyphonic ringtones, monophonic ringtones, wallpapers, group logos, themes, operator logos, sounds, and picture messages for your cell phone. A free polyphonic ringtone is essentially a sound file saved as a MIDI. The advantage of polyphonic ringtones is that they can be mixed with other polyphonics to create very unique rings. In fact, MIDI files are also used by karaoke machines. By using data cables and ringtone converters, these karaoke MIDI files can easily be converted to polyphonic ringtones for entirely free and then downloaded onto your phone. Your other available alternative to obtain a polyphonic ringer is to utilize a WAP server. You must download the ringtones desired onto the server and then you can directly access the service from your phone. Before you go through all the trouble of picking a free polyphonic ring tone, make certain to check whether your phone’s ringer is compatible with that ring tone. Free ringer tones from Nokia may not necessarily be compatible with a phone from Kyocera, Motorola, or Verizon. Furthermore, a specific free Nokia ringing tone may not be compatible with a specific Nokia phone. Keep in mind also that older phone models do not necessarily offer service for polyphonics.
