Cell Phone Reception - getting the best connection

The quality of a cell phone reception determines how well your cell phone will perform. Regions experience different levels of reception quality due to various reasons such as:

• In older, deep basements, signals can’t travel
• Remote areas where the nearest cell phone antenna tower is too far away
• Presence of a strong EM absorber body nearby in the vehicle
• Bad or poor receptive power of the antenna of the phones

To get receive a good reception; the first thing to check up on is the cell phone antenna. If the problem just picked in out of the blue, ensure that the antenna connections are clean, correct and taut.

Usually in areas where the reception has always been bad, it would be advisable to request the cell phone operators to check the problem. The carries would have to check the antennas of the surrounding towers and ensure its smooth running. If that turns out to be negative, it will then be advisable to go in for a signal booster or external antennas.

With those who work in an area where its difficult to receive signals, it’s advisable to enquire to the alternatives to a cellular phone as a means of receiving calls as you could end up receiving huge monthly bills from the service provider for no real benefit to you.
