At&t Wireless Phones and services include free long distance plans

At&t wireless phones and service plans are comparable to other services offered by major cell companies. Most of AT&T’s cell phone plans now include "free" long distance, and their service plans are no exception. AT&T’s national plans include free long distance while their local plans offer long distance at per minute rates. And of course AT&T customer service is second to none – something to consider when buying your new cell phone.

Most AT&T service plans also include unlimited night and weekend minutes at good rates. Currently, nights begin at 7:00 p.m. on AT&T’s higher end plans and at 9:00 p.m. on their lower priced plans. For shared cell phone plans, night and weekend minutes always start at 9:00 p.m. and conclude at 5:59 a.m.

AT&T, like its cell phone competitors, now also offers unlimited mobile-to-mobile minutes to all of its cell phone customers. The term "mobile-to-mobile" refers to calls made from one AT&T mobile phone to another AT&T mobile phone not cell phones operated by other cell phone companies.

Rates for AT&T phone services vary depending upon the cell phone selected, the phone options selected and the total number of anytime minutes selected. One rule to remember is that the greater the number of anytime minutes required, the more the phone plan will cost you. AT&T offers nationwide services with plans of between 450 and 6,000 anytime minutes.
